INGREDIENT QUANTITY PROCEDURE
all-purpose flour

  1. 1 Combine in large bowl.
masa harina

salt
1 tsp
baking powder
1 tsp
lard, melted

  1. 2 Combine in another large bowl.
  2. 3 Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet, until a dough forms.
  3. 4 Knead until moist and tacky.
  4. 5 Divide into dough balls, let rest for ~20 minutes.

  1. 6 Preheat cast-iron pan on high.
  2. 7 Flatten dough balls, either by tortilla press or rolling pin.
  3. 8 Cook 1-2 minutes, flipping mid-way.
