🌚 Mozzarella Sticks 🐐

mozarella (low moisture)
1 lb
  1. 1 Cut into 3x 1 2 "x 1 2 " pieces.
all-purpose flour
3 4 cup
  1. 2 Place in shallow dish.

  1. 3 Whisk.
  2. 4 Place in 2nd shallow dish.
whole milk
3 tbsp
panko
2 cups
  1. 5 Mix in 3rd shallow dish.
garlic powder
1 1 2 tsp
onion powder
1 1 2 tsp
dried basil
1 tsp
dried oregano
1 tsp
dried parsley
1 tsp
dried thyme
1 tsp
  1. 6 Dredge each mozarella through dishs #1, #2, and #3, twice.
  2. 7 Place on wire rack.
  3. 8 Freeze for 1 hour.

  1. 9 Fill dutch oven to 2" below top.
  2. 10 Heat to 350.
  3. 11 Fry each mozarella for 2-2.5 minutes (until golden brown).
  4. 12 Transfer to towel-lined plate.
  5. 13 Season with salt while still hot.
