INGREDIENT QUANTITY PROCEDURE
  1. 1 Preheat smoker to 180-200°F.
baby back ribs
1 rack
  1. 2 Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs.
Dry Rub
2 tbsp
  1. 3 Season all sides of the ribs.
  1. 4 Smoke ribs for 3 hours, meat side up.
aluminum foil
  1. 5 Increase smoker to 225°F.
  2. 6 Transfer ribs to aluminum foil, meat side down.
  3. 7 Pour over apple cider.
  4. 8 Sprinkle with brown sugar and butter.
  5. 9 Wrap tightly in foil.
  6. 10 Smoke ribs for 2 hours.
apple cider/juice
1 cup
dark brown sugar
1 4 cup
salted butter
3 tbsp
bbq sauce
1 2 cup
  1. 11 Remove ribs from aluminum foil (discarding liquid).
  2. 12 Place on smoker meat side up.
  3. 13 Brush in BBQ sauce.
  4. 14 Smoke for 1 hour.
