🌚 Apple galette 🐐

apples, sliced

  1. 1 Mix
several pinches brown sugar
a splash of whiskey
a splash of vanilla
butter
3 Tbsp
  1. 2 Melt in a small bowl

Basic Galette Dough
  1. 4 Roll out dough on a lightly floured surface until about 1 8 " thick
  2. 5 Transfer to a parchment-lined baking sheet
  3. 6 Arrange apples on dough, leaving a 1" border
  4. 7 Lift edges of the dough over the apples, tucking and overlapping as needed
  5. 8 Brush butter onto the apples
  6. 9 Brush egg wash onto the crust and sprinkle with sugar
  7. 10 Bake until crust is brown, 40-50 min
